The NSW Government’s “Regional Growth – Marketing and Promotion Fund” awarded the money to Evocities to help promote the benefits of living in the area.
Evocities was formed to change perceptions of life in regional cities like Wagga, Albury, Orange, Dubbo and Tamworth; and to encourage people to live, work and invest in those places.
“It is about encouraging people to consider making the move from the city to the bush, where it can be a fantastic career move, an exciting investment opportunity, or a lifestyle overhaul for the better,” Wagga MP Daryl Maguire said.
“Wagga has so many fantastic opportunities for small business, growing families and individuals; you have all the creature comforts of the city without the big city problems, not to mention all the freedom to explore the Riverina at a moment’s notice.”
