Police were monitoring school speed zones in Kooringal when highway patrol officers noticed a motorcyclist without a helmet, allegedly travelling at speed at 8.45am.
A Highway patrol officer motioned to the rider to pull over, before getting into the car to make a U-turn.
"As he's conducted the U-turn, the motorcycle has fallen off his bike at the intersection of Fay Street and Fairbairn Crescent in Kooringal," Inspector Rob Vergano from Wagga's Local Area Command said.
Fortunately, the rider only suffered minor injuries.
Nine News Riverina was filming police at the time and caught the incident on camera.
"Ambulances attended and assessed the rider. He wasn't conveyed to hospital. Instead he was conveyed to Wagga Police, where he is currently being charged with numerous traffic offences," Inspector Vergano said.
The rider, a 15-year-old Kooringal boy, was riding an unregistered motorcycle and was refused bail.
