Brody Kennedy, 20, had his community service order revoked and was ordered to pay a $500 fine in Wagga Local Court on Wednesday, after he was found concealing Salvation Army property.
The Kooringal man had less than seven hours remaining on his required 50 hours service after he was convicted of affray, relating to an incident in September 2016.
Magistrate Erin Kennedy told the court it was a problematic and serious offence, given how difficult it was to find local placements for those required to complete community service orders.
The accused was present on Wednesday as Ms Kennedy told the court she was inclined to revoke the order given the small amount of hours that remained.
