Myers, 18, was one of five NSW-ACT players invited to attend this year’s AFL Combine, to be held at Etihad Stadium from October 3-6.
He will be one of 83 players to attend the Combine after winning at least four nominations from AFL clubs.
The invitation caught Myers by surprise.
“At first, I was pretty shocked,” Myers said.
“I’m obviously very happy though. It should be a good couple of days, I’m looking forward to it.”
Myers has been busy this year between representative commitments with NSW-ACT Rams, Allies and Greater Western Sydney’s reserve grade team.
“I started off a bit sluggish but finally worked my way into a bit of form,” Myers said.
Myers will play his second game of the year for Tigers on Sunday against Coolamon.
He will play a couple more games for the Giants before preparing for Tigers’ finals campaign.
