Little scored four tries to help his team overcome a slow start against Cootamundra at Equex Centre on Sunday.
Scoring three tries in the first half, Little’s spark helped them run out 52-14 winners and make it four wins on the trot.
Results also went Brothers way on Sunday with three rounds remaining before the start of the finals.
Albury suffered a 38-18 loss to Tumut to fall further behind the top five while Temora suffered a crucial blow with a 42-30 loss to Young.
However Kangaroos emerged as their biggest top five threat with a 28-22 win over Tumbarumba.
Ben Jeffery’s team has the bye this week, which means they could close the gap to one point before an all-Wagga blockbuster on August 6.
First Brothers travel to Alfred Park to take on the second placed Cherrypickers.
Little believes the team heads to Young full of confidence and hungry for another win.
“We’re a surprising team and I think a lot of teams will get a big shock playing against us,” Little said.
