Learning the ropes more than 12 years ago, Mr Reid has now built his own workshop so he can work on his unique creations from home.
Mr Reid is one of many craft and art enthusiasts taking the Wagga Showgrounds by storm this weekend.
Mr Reid has attended CraftAlive for a number of years and said he wanted to remind the community woodworking wasn’t gender specific, with several females giving it a go.
“I retired a couple of years ago and now that I’ve got my own workshop, I hope to be getting in there a bit more,” Mr Reid said.
CraftAlive will run until July 23 at the Wagga Showgrounds, packed full of the latest craft supplies, trends and experts.
