Tumut man one of four fatalities
A 52-year-old man killed in a car crash at Tumut was one of four fatalities in just five hours on rural roads this weekend.

Emergency services responded to the incident about 2.30am on Sunday. When the man failed to turn up at work, a search began. It is believed his vehicle left Gocup Road and caught fire after swerving to avoid a dead kangaroo.
Two people were also killed on the Sturt Highway near Euston and a teenaged girl was killed near Tamworth.
It brings the state’s road toll for 2017 to 201 deaths.
