One lucky pilot has managed to escape injury after a plane was forced into an emergency landing near Wagga on Sunday.

Due to land at Wagga airport at 12.20pm, the plane was forced to land in a paddock on Oura Road in North Wagga.
Wagga police inspector Rob Vergano said the emergency landing was the result of an engine malfunction, with police and emergency services attending the scene.
Inspector Vergano said there were no passengers on board.
