The Boiled Lollies are third and after winning their first game in four rounds against CSU last week are out to keep building towards the finals.
Kanck is looking to produce the same brand of football that was successful against the Reddies.
“We had a tough match with them (Griffith) in the first round so you always have to be careful about coming into game too confident,” Kanck said.
“Griffith will be playing with nothing to lose so they will front up with a great game.
“Hopefully our game is better.”
Wagga City have made a number of changes to their team to tackle the Blacks.
With Oscar Sykes out, Rambo Lagaali comes back into the starting team while Gordon Lagaali and Vili Cavuca come into the back line.
