Sweettalkingwilly broke through for his maiden victory at Wagga on Monday and will be out to make it two in a week at Gundagai.
Sweettalkingwilly will be the one to beat in the $10,000 James Squire One Fifty Lashes 2YO Handicap (1180m).
“He’s come through the other day super well,” Sutherland said.
“He’s 110 per cent fit so I haven’t had to do much with him. He’s a happy horse, he’ll be in the paddock on Monday, he’ll be hard to beat in it so why not run him.
“With BOBS bonuses, if he wins this, that will take him to about $55,000 in prizemoney as a two-year-old, and he’s not really a two-year-old, he’ll be a good three-year-old.”
Bryan Murphy will take the ride on Sweettalkingwilly after forgoing the winning ride on Monday due to illness.
Sutherland will take at least six horses to Gundagai’s six-race TAB meeting and expects all of them to be around the mark.
