Chantelle Berkin, 29, pleaded guilty in Wagga Local Court this week to aggravated enter dwelling with intent to inflict actual bodily harm and to intimidation.
According to agreed facts tendered to the court, Berkin went with her friend to the victim’s house on February 19 to collect personal items and screamed “I’ll kill you if you go near her again”.
Berkin pushed the man over and sat on him, punched him in the face and used her hands and the cord of an electric fan to hold him down as he struggled to breathe and push her away.
Berkin is on bail and has been committed for sentencing in Wagga District Court on a date to be fixed.
