Henwood Park flirts with danger against Tumut

Unbeaten Henwood Park was held to a 2-2 draw by seventh-placed Tumut at Bull Paddock on Sunday. 

Hawks drew first blood thanks to a first half strike from captain Matt Menser. 

Tumut’s Matt Lopez and Jarrod Casey returned serve with a goal each to take a 2-1 lead after halftime.

But prolific Henwood Park striker Jake Ploenges sealed the draw with10 minutes remaining. 

Menser said it was the worst his side had played all season.
