For many Wagga residents, the humble cuppa Joe is more than just a caffeine hit, it’s an art.
But with 15 cafes in town and counting, who rules the roast?
Lara Brien, co-owner of Infuso, said a perfect coffee is about more than taste.
She said the staff’s “lovely personalities” bring regulars in each morning.
“We’re not coffee snobs,” co-owner Stewart Cook said.
“We look after our people and pride ourselves on sourcing locally.”
On the other side of town, Uneke manager Samantha Dunbar said the perfect coffee should be “rich and silky” and that she's biased, but Uneke are king of the bean.
Uneke source theirs from Bills Beans, an artisan roaster from Orange.
“Even on my days off, I come in and get a coffee here,” she said.
