Making sure communications channels are open to all staff is key to a happy and productive workplace according to KRS Health practice manager Justine Budde.
“I have an open door policy, so anyone who needs to speak with me can at any time,” she said.
“I think communication is the key to success when running such a large practice.
“We make sure all staff have a chance to give their thoughts and opinions.
“No matter what type of business, staff are the biggest asset and therefore they need to be appreciated for their hard work and diligent work ethic.”
It’s this mentality that saw KRS Health win Employer of Choice at this year’s Crow Awards.

This was the first time the business has been involved with the awards.
“We were extremely humbled to have won as first time nominees,” Ms Budde said.
“Winning means a lot to me and the team because it shows that the hard work we do to make sure all staff are treated equally and fairly is being recognised by other members of the community.”
KRS Health has more than 20,000 active patients from all over Wagga and the Riverina including Griffith, Junee, Coolamon and Temora.
With up to 300 patients walking through the doors each day the 25 staff members (10 doctors, five nurses and 10 administrative staff) are kept busy.
“With so many people coming through our door everyday, it is important that patients are our number one priority,” Ms Budde said.
