Last year they could count their wins on one hand, but this year, less than halfway in, they’ve already secured three.
“We’ve had a change of luck as of late, it’s been good,” Tumut player Mick Parker said.
The inclusion of Reece Mastellotto, and the extra year’s experience for players in their late teens has helped them improve their results.
“Reece has the build of a league player and good soccer skills,” Parker said.
"He holds that midfield.
“Jared Casey plays on left, he was our keeper, but we’ve freed him up to play on the wing, his speed and attack has helped. He’s a dedicated left-footer, they’re as rare as hens teeth.
“Tim Dixon is fleet-footed on the wing and he works well with James Goode upfront.
“James is phenomenal, he will work all day and has great control of the ball.”
Tumut comes off a win to confront Tolland at Rawlings Park on Saturday at 7.30pm.
