Residents woke to a wintery Thursday morning –the first major fog of the season.
Commuters were faced with low visibility drives to work, while at Bomen more than 43,000 sheep were auctioned off under a thick, low cloud in the weekly Wagga sale.
Soon before 10am, Wagga City Council declared no flights would be taking off from or arriving at Wagga Airport until late in the morning.
The warning was shortlived, however, with the first planes jetting off around 11am.
