Hands will be in Newcastle with coaching commitments for the Combined High Schools trials as the Diesels hunt for a rare win this season.
Junee has only won once this year while the best the Greens have been able to come up with is a draw.
Both results were against Cootamundra.
His place in the team will be taken by younger brother Cameron where he’ll be joined by Liam Sweeney in the halves.
The coach said it wasn’t ideal but was confident Cameron would slot straight back in.
Hands said it was always a tough game at Tumbarumba regardless of where both teams sit on the ladder.
“We have to match them physically,” he said.
“Hopefully if we can control the ruck then we’ll give our attacking players a bit more of an opportunity to do their bit with the ball.”
