The team at Better Mobility pride themselves on providing assistive technology and offering new ways of gaining support and independence for their clients.
This dedication has been recognised at this year’s Golden Crow Awards after being named finalists in the Excellence in business ethics category.
Better Mobility is an established Wagga business which recently moved into complex rehabilitation equipment including custom designed manual and power wheelchairs.
“We’re very proud of the fact that we can provide people in our local community the same equipment and service as those who live in much larger cities,” manager Austin Gregor said.
“Our focus is on making sure that our clients have equipment that they are not only proud of, but can also have absolute confidence in.

“We are not like some larger companies where it is more about making a sale – we would rather know that somebody has exactly what they need.”
The business has a full time seating specialist and a consultant physiotherapist on staff, who can work with a client from initial contact to delivery of equipment to ensure it is right for their needs.
Better Mobility also has a service technician and fully equipped workshop to ensure repairs and modifications are completed as quickly as possible, and is an NDIS registered provider.
The business is also moving into manufacture of supportive equipment which will be conducted in Wagga.
