Motorists travelling between Wagga and Junee will have to re-think their commute with Olympic Highway roadworks at Brucedale just around the corner.
Work is set to start on Monday and will be carried out between 7am and 6pm on weekdays and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
The $600,000 project is expected to take four weeks to complete.
The speed limit will be reduced to 40 km/h during working hours and 80 km/h after hours.
Work will involve road widening, removing roadside hazards and upgrading intersections.
Traffic controllers and mobile traffic lights will be on site to guide traffic.
