You have heard all about the Wizard of Oz but how much do you really know about its witches?

The Civic Theatre this year will host a local version of the popular Broadway musical Wicked The Untold True Story of the Witches of Oz.

The story looks at the Land of Oz before Dorothy arrives through the eyes of Elphaba and Glinda at sorcery school.

Whether you are a good witch or a bad witch, auditions will be held for dancing on June 15 and singing and acting on June 18 and 21.

All cast members must be over 16 years of age and book one singing/acting and one movement audtion.

Rehearsals will begin in late July and production week will be from Ocotber 28 to November 3.

Shows will be at the theatre from November 4.

Parts are being cast for Elphaba, Glinda, Madame Morrible, Nessarose, The Wizard of Oz, Fiyero, Boq, Doctor Dillamond and the ensemble.
