October 14, 1917

Things still quiet. Sent one batch of walkers away during the night, and managed to get a sleep to make up for none during the day. Weather has cleared up considerably, but it will take some time to make much improvement in the line. More sickness coming through also gas from which we have had some deaths. Taubes over during the night.
