A small group of men and women observed and experienced the training world at Blamey Barracks as part of its 2017 VIP Challenge.
Over two days, participants rappelled from the purpose-built abseiling tower and fired military weapons in the state-of-the-art weapons simulator.
Wagga Alpha Company of the 1st/19th Royal New South Wales Regiment commanding officer major Jamie Fox said the initiative gave members of the business community practical knowledge of the personal, technical and professional training that reservists received.
He said the Kapooka VIP Challenge shared the leadership and management skills that a Reservist could bring to the workplace.
