On Saturday night in the Pascoe Cup, without skipper Joey Fondacaro (suspended, one week), Leeton defeated Tumut 6-0 in Leeton.

Leeton welcomed back two strikers and went on a scoring spree, finishing the job with four goals in the second half.

The strong result came at a cost to Leeton.

In the heated match, a player was dismissed with a red card for allegedly striking a rival, a call Leeton plans to dispute.

At the final whistle players shook hands and met for pizza and drinks.

Leeton president Rod Harrison said visiting teams have been “impressed” with facilities at Leeton, particularly changerooms, a luxury for teams in the Football Wagga competition.
