After holding the Blue side scoreless in the first half, Rosellas were unable to find the net despite the return of Kira McBeath and striker Cindy White in their season debuts. Ashleigh Yan, with two goals, broke the deadlock for Royals Blue. Yan was well-supported by Simone Lotter in the midfield with several strong attacks towards the circle.
Meanwhile, Royals White made it four wins on the trot, however last-placed CSU/Rivcoll pushed them in the 4-2 victory.
With the return of Elspeth Beason, Georgia McGregor and keeper Rachel Hindi, CSU fielded one of their strongest teams this season but could not keep up with their fitter counterparts in the second half.
2017 leading goal scorer Sarah Bonny continued her form from last season.
Bonny now leads the tally by three, on seven for the season.
