For the second week in a row, Royals held the opposition to a 3-3 draw on Saturday. This time it was to leader Lake Albert, but it came at a cost to Royals with an injury to key player Adam Boyd.

In the highly competitive match, both teams had players marched from the field.
Former Royals player Benson Williams scored two goals against his former club and worked to clear the ball from defence.
Lake showed the strength, scoring a goal when they were down to nine players on field. But Pat O’Donnell with the help from Liam Dobbie pulled Royals back into line and kept the pressure up as Lake began to panic.
With a goal to Royals in the final minutes to tie the score at 3 apiece, both teams played attacking hockey, but no goals were scored.
Meanwhile, CSU/Rivcoll overcame a slow start to run through Harlequins, winning 8-2.
CSU coach Jacob Barnsley dominated the game with four goals.
Harlequins started well, scoring the first goal and catching the CSU defence off guard, however CSU replied instantly.
Harlequins defence soon broke down, as the reigning premiers began to composure themselves.
CSU captain Nick Fahey converted a goal from a penalty stroke.
Harlequins didn’t stop the onslaught despite the best efforts from defender Craig Watson.
