A week after being hammered by Tumut 50-6, the Brothers deliver a hiding off their own with a 42-14 win.
In a clash between two teams yet to win this season, it was the Brethren who were able to get on top early.
They took a 16-4 lead into half-time before scoring the next four tries to put the result out of doubt.
After going plenty of soul searching during the week, Brothers captain-coach Ben Black was pleased with how his team responded.
“We had a bit of a chat this week, we knew that a few of our performances weren’t up to scratch and started big this week,” Black said.
“That seems to be the way to do it.
“We can still improve but it is good to get back to playing the way we should.”
Black thought there was plenty of talk between the players on the field, which helped them all get in the right direction.
