A QANTASLINK flight from Sydney to Wagga was forced to turn around just minutes before landing at Wagga airport on Friday afternoon.

Passengers on flight QF2225 were told the plane was returning to Sydney because of a fault in an engine indicator panel in the cockpit. A Qantas spokesman said with no engineers at Wagga airport, the decision was made to return to Sydney and put passengers on a later flight. Other flights were put back about two-and-a-half hours following the incident.
