A Daily Advertiser poll has revealed more than 90 per cent of Wagga parents would let their children watch a controversial show about suicide.
The Netflix series 13 Reasons Why has caused a stir for its depiction of a girl who takes her own life, with many slamming it as “irresponsible”.

A manager at youth mental health service Headspace told Fairfax Media exposing young viewers to distressing content could lead to “suicide contagion”.
However, poll respondents thought the program opened up important conversations about depression.
