The groom was holding the couple’s daughter when he got down on one knee on Mother’s Day in 2015 and said “Louise, Olivia wants to know if you would marry her daddy.”
The couple met through mutual friends and were later married at Magpies Nest in Wagga.
The sit-down, three-course reception, with a lolly bar and dessert table, was attended by 75 guests.
Louise, the only daughter of Tania Fox, was given away by her mother.
She wore a pearl pink lace corset with a tulle ballgown and two-metre long train with a lace-trimmed cathedral veil.
Bridesmaids Alice Fitzgerald, Rebecca McIntyre, Amber Emerson and Klara Neeves wore periwinkle blue chiffon floor-length dresses with sequins under the bust.
The couple’s daughter was flowergirl and she wore a white lace top with a full ankle-length skirt.
Mitchell was joined by groomsmen Jake Derrick, Mathew Jefferies, Nathan Ryan and Joel Newman.
Louise and Mitchell said the highlight of the day was exchanging vows they had written themselves.
They spent a night in Canberra where they visited the zoo and aquarium in Jamala Lodge.
