The “Activation Strategy” aims to promote livability, employment opportunities, incentives to move to and stay in Wagga and prevent unsustainable urban sprawl within the city.
City strategy manager Tristan Kell said council needed to hear from locals before they could put pen to paper.
“Everyone is an expert in their own area and without you we can’t develop a plan that is going to meet the future needs of your community,” he said.
“We want to know what you love about your area, where there might be room for improvement and how to create future employment opportunities.”
The Activation Strategy will also draw on existing documents to develop a co-ordinated approach to the planning and delivery of services.
Anyone who wants to have their say can do so on the council website.
