A RIVERINA boy has relished the moment of a lifetime after he was pulled up on stage with Carlos Santana at Byron Bay’s Bluesfest last week.
Young Tumut musician Rory Phillips was given the opportunity to “rock out” with the Latin American rock legend in front of more than 10,000 people.
Rory was ecstatic to have experienced the one-off opportunity to close out a memorable event.
“Somebody pinch me,” he said on social media.
“I can’t believe that has just happened.”
Unfortunately for Rory, he was only given maracas to play with instead of his favourite instrument – the guitar.
“I won’t be able to sleep tonight,” he said.
The talented teenager will continue to pursue his music ambitions in wake of the miraculous experience.
