A full-scale mock emergency scenario will be staged at Wagga airport at the end of the month to test the city’s response to a real future disaster.
About 60 volunteers of all ages are required to help act out the aircraft emergency scenario on the day.
The scenario will involve a collision between a RAAF and commercial aircraft. The “disaster” will be staged on Saturday, April 29 from 7.30am to 1pm.
Residents wishing to help out on the day can register by visiting www.wagga.nsw.gov.au/airport.
