Justin Roylance from V8 Superboats said the crowd could expect quite a spectacle on Easter Saturday when the races get under way.
“It is always a great event,” he said.
“Laps usually last about 45-50 seconds with boats making up to 30-40 direction changes in that time.
“The boats are obviously quite powerful going from 0-100 in two seconds while they will pull about 5.5 Gs while turning.
“Spectators won’t have to worry about missing any of the action it will be all right in front of them.”
The races get underway at 3pm with three or four qualifying sessions with pits open during the tea break where spectators can have merchandise signed by the drivers.
Tickets will be available at the gate which open at 2pm with entry costing $60 for families, $25 for adults, $20 for pensioners, $15 for students and kids under six get in for free.
