Str8shots’ keeper Conrad Eyles saved six shots to defeat The Rabonas 3-1 in their toughest game so far.
“The opposition was really good so it gave me a work out,” he said.
“That first half when no one scored I was worried it’d be a deadlock but we did have it this year."
Rival Max Prest won best on ground, renewing his team’s hopes with a goal.
Meanwhile, in the under 10’s another unstoppable team, ARTL Drillers, took out the final with an 8-2 win.
In the under 14’s final, packed with Country NSW players, The Killer Monkeys won their third consecutive title, beating Lake Albert 9-6. MVP: Luke Stevens.
In three years, the competition has grown fourfold and the organisation aims to support elite players by introducing representative teams in 2017.
