The book is part of the Marvelous Max program, which provides tools to understanding autism.
“It teaches school children about the disorder and how it affects people,” Ms Gray said.
“It also teaches children that being different is awesome and that everyone has something of value to offer.”
Schools can register for the program for free, with enough funding to provide up to two books to every registered Australian school.
Ms Gray said 300 schools had already registered for the program, including several overseas schools.
“Everyone involved with Marvelous Max is proud and excited,” she said.
The book will be launched at Uneke on April 6 from 7pm.
