Police were called to a Fitzmaurice Street licensed venue shortly after midnight to eject the man, who was allegedly intoxicated, furious and antagonising security.
He was ejected and issued a move on order by detectives before he proceeded onto Kincaid Street.
It is believed the party goer walked up to the Italian restaurant and smashed the window with his fist, giving himself a severe laceration in the process.
Paramedics rushed to his aid in attempts to slow the bleeding and take him to Wagga Rural Referral Hospital.
Inspector Andrew Spliet said the man was extremely lucky not to experience any complications from the blood loss.
“He’s done quite a number on himself,” he said.
“There was a lot of blood, so he’s lucky to be okay.
“It’s certainty an expensive night on the town.”
Officers will issue the alleged offender with a court attendance notice and he will be forced to pay for the window replacement.
