There were perfect conditions with sunny skies as golfers donned their best polos and golf clubs for a cause.
More than 37 teams took to the greens for the annual South Wagga Rotary Club Charity Golf Day on Friday.
Committee member John Wright said the raised funds would be given to a number of local charities, including Ronald McDonald House and Country Hope.
Mr Wright said Ronald McDonald House was an incredibly worthy cause to play for.
“Ronald McDonald house is such a good organisation,” Mr Wright said.
“They cater for children with cancer and their parents when they need a place in order to get treatment.”
Mr Wright said it was a great day for all involved.
“It was a little bit hot but overall we had some beautiful weather and really enjoyed ourselves,” Mr Wright said.
“From a financial perspective the chosen local charities will get some significant donations.
“It was a successful day had by all.”
While most of the competing teams were made up of local businesses and community members, golfers travelled from as far as Griffith for the event.
Mr Wright said the numbers were similar to the past few annual rotary golf days.
