The girls won all four of their games at the army event, including taking to wins over Southern Inland rivals Waratahs.
The two teams clashed in the final, and coach Andy Bedford is looking to continue their strong pre-season form at Cootamundra.
“I was very happy, they seemed to play very cohesively even though it was only the first match,” Bedford said.
"Last year there were some very good teams (at Cootamundra) so I’m sure it will be another good hit out.”
After missing out on a grand final appearance last season, CSU are looking to improve and will be helped by the return of NSW junior representative Sophie Quirk from a long term knee injury.
