She has just one more sleep with her long precious locks before she parts with them and her commitment has prompted others to take a leap too.
“I’m starting to get a bit nervous but I’m getting excited too,” she said.
“I need a hair change anyway.”
Ms Taylor was inspired to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation after her best friend, Tracey, died from cancer.
Ms Taylor will shave her head on March 18 and Tracey’s mother will colour her locks.
A male friend has agreed to also shave his head if he can raise $200 at the Thomas Blamey Tavern from 4pm Saturday.
She has raised an estimated $3000 of her $5000 total so far.
