At just 22, Wagga Waratah league star Zac Maloney will play his 100th match, surrounded by family, friends and supporters at Bolton Park on Saturday at 6.30pm.
Maloney said players involved in Waratah League basketball have helped him mature from a development player to a team captain.
“I’ve always had guys with a lot of experience help me, like Paul Prowse, Matt Bishop, Joey Howard, guys who I could learn off,” he said.
One of his greatest supporters, his mum, has kept a record of his game tally since his Wagga Heat debut at 15.
Maloney wants a win against Springwood Scorchers; his parents have rallied more than 30 family members and friends, who have supported him for seven years, to watch the match.
