The Albury-Wodonga Pop Up Outdoor Adventure Expo will be held on Saturday, March 11 at the Wodonga Race Course, from 9am to 4pm, catering for affected exhibitors.
2AY, Outcross Media and Racing Wodonga have combined forces to put on a show for the community and help exhibitors try to recoup their losses.
Racing Wodonga have generously donated the use of the venue for the pop up event.
Affected exhibitors have responded with enthusiasm and support for the event.
2AY general manager Brendan O’Loughlin said the opportunity presented itself for the Albury-Wodonga community to band together.
“We wanted to support not only those businesses stung but also to provide a pop up show for the community to enjoy over the Victorian Labor Day long weekend,’’ Mr O’Loughlin said.
“With some quick thinking and many willing participants, Albury-Wodonga Pop Up Outdoor Adventure Show is ready to deliver.
“2AY, together with Outcross Media and Wodonga and District Turf Club, and Wodonga Show Society have created a pop up show the community will be proud of.’’
Site fees have been waivered for exhibitors and the entry is free for the public.
Mr O’Loughlin said exhibitors from the original three day event would showcase their wares and promote their brands and services.
