CSU failed to win a game season, with a draw with Albury their best result, however Fisher has been happy with how things are progressing at the university club.
No stranger to coaching in Southern Inland, after previously RARC, Fisher is confident the team will be more competitive this season.
“It’s looking good but it is the first hit out and it will about getting combinations worked out,” Fisher said.
He’s also been pleased with numbers at training as well.
“The boys have been training well,” Fisher said.
“There are a couple of new fellas there and a few younger fellas who have come back to the club.”

The trial starts at 2pm, to be played in four 20 minute quarters.
CSU has also been locked in for the Kapooka 10s event next weekend, which marks the first time SIRU clubs have been invited for the event.
