Griffith Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a house in the city’s south-west was gutted by fire on Sunday evening.

Emergency services were called to a house fire in Heath Crescent at around 5.30pm Sunday evening.
Upon arrival the house was found to be well alight with NSW Fire and Rescue from Griffith attempting to control the fire.
The fire was extinguished at 6.20pm with the house totally destroyed.
No persons were home at the time and no injuries to either the pubic or emergency services were sustained.
The cause and origin of the fire is still under investigation and forensic police will be attending the location to examine the scene.
