Dutton will reach the special milestone when Colts take on Wagga RSL in a ‘must-win’ final round match at Wagga Cricket Ground.
Dutton joins an exclusive club at Colts and enters it at just 27 years of age after making his debut as a 16-year-old.
“It’s a bit of an honour, I guess, 100 games at the one club,” Dutton said.
“It doesn’t really happen that often, especially in country cricket when people move around a lot of the time.”
Dutton will hit 100 games, despite spending two years overseas, and missing most of another season due to a shoulder reconstruction.
Dutton, an off-spinner and capable batsman, coached Colts for two seasons. He rates the 2014-15 premiership as the highlight.
“The obvious one is the first grade premiership in 2014-15. Then scoring 100 last year, and also making my debut as a 16-year-old,” he said.
“It was a tough comp back then.”
Neville Jolliffe is Colts’ record games holder with 200. Dutton is not looking that far ahead, but hopes he still has cricket left in him.
“I’ve still got a few years left, I reckon,” he said.
A big reason Dutton has got to 100 is his passion for the club.
“It’s a great club, they’ve looked after me quite well.”
