A 16-year-old boy who crashed his push bike into a tree while riding down Willans Hill on Friday has suffered a fractured skull and bleeding on the brain.

It has also been revealed he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The Wagga teenager’s condition was downgraded from serious to stable at the Westmead Children’s Hospital on Monday, with further tests expected to be carried out tomorrow.
Paramedics rushed to Stanley Street about 3.30pm on Friday to discover the teen suffering from injuries to the head and chest.
Emergency services attended the scene and stopped residents from witnessing the disturbing sight.
Friends have taken to social media to forward their best wishes to the ailing teen.
“Wishing for you buddy, know you'll come through this stronger than before,” one user said on Facebook.
“We love you and have our fingers crossed for you,” another wrote.
Another update is expected on Wednesday.
