Local kids rivalled tough opponents; four of six Wanderers teams won games.
Wagga’s under 14’s continued a strong run of results, outclassing Murray United in the midfield to win 2-0.
“We had positive results in Canberra, and again today, it’s good for the boys, it should be a good stepping stone onto the Bathurst Cup in a fortnight,” coach Bryan Lucas said.
“They’re all very much enjoying it, it’s a step above club football with two training sessions a week.”
Wingers Jed Sim, who scored inside the first two minutes, and Leon Hemmings were standouts on Sunday.
