Laura Harris, who made the move from Orange after a gap year working in Griffith, said despite all the festivities, she was most looking forward to classes getting started. 

“I am looking forward to my course so I can finally study what I always wanted to study,” Ms Harris said. 

Ms Harris will be studying agricultural business and said she couldn’t wait to immerse herself in the CSU community. 

Ms Harris isn’t the only one looking forward to an agricultural-focused course. 

Condobolon’s Kirsten Carter is all set to start her agricultural teaching course, after trying out English teaching at another CSU campus last year. 

“Straight teaching just wasn’t for me,” Ms Carter said. 

“I don’t think many other university’s do agricultural degrees so CSU was easily my first choice.”
