About 100 members attended an annual educational session at Wagga library, learning all about Nepal and tasting its unique cuisines.
CWA member Fiona Gaston said it was an informative session which broadened her horizons.
“As a group we want to know what women are doing in other countries and what issues they are having,” Ms Gaston said.
Monique Shepherd, who ran the session, said it is important for women to immerse themselves in other cultures in order to form their own opinions.
“It’s very important to understand cultures and to know what other people think about things,” Ms Shepherd said.
