Sam, Ethan and Tom Perry will play their first full first grade match together when Wagga RSL takes on ladder leaders St Michaels at Wagga Cricket Ground.
The Bulldogs will be without a host of key players for the one-day fixture but the Perry’s milestone will be a highlight for the much-improved team.
Captain Todd Henderson, in-form paceman Jake Hindmarsh, Tim Cameron and Josh Staines will all be missing.
Wagga RSL coach Shaun Perry will be a proud father when his three boys line-up on Saturday.
“I was away the other night (at selection) but they called Tom in as a keeper this week,” Perry explained.
“Sam is pretty excited to play with his two brothers. They’d all be pretty excited, I’d say. They don’t say much but they would be.”
Wagga RSL cannot make finals but it is an important fixture for St Michaels as they look to maintain top spot on the ladder.
With two rounds remaining, Perry said there was still plenty for Wagga RSL to play for.
“The boys are still pretty excited to try and win a few games, cause a few upsets,” Perry said.
James Richards will take over the captaincy duties.
