More than 200 year 12 students from across the Riverina will participate in one of the 19th annual Chemistry Days this week.
The program offers students a hands-on experience in preparing for their HSC, with experiments which can only be conducted outside of a classroom.
Miss Munro, a year 12 St Francis De Sales Regional College student, was able to interview a veterinarian about her career path.
Organiser Dr Celia Barril said the program opens students eyes to the opportunities available in a career in science.
“We try and enthuse students and make them realise science is not hard and can be fun,” Dr Barril said.
